Results by Industry
Your customers have changed how they search. They ask ChatGPT which company to call. They read Google's AI Overview instead of scrolling. They ask Gemini who is best in their city, and they act on the answer. Below is what that looks like in practice, industry by industry. Every figure comes from live tracking across Google AI Overview, Google AI Mode, Gemini and ChatGPT, measured across thousands of AI responses a month.
The problem in this industry: After a storm, homeowners no longer scroll through ten roofers. They ask an assistant who is reliable, licensed and local, and they call the first name it gives. Roofing is also one of the most crowded categories in AI search, with national brands, manufacturers and out-of-state operators competing for the same answer.
First out of 44 tracked roofing companies, with three times the share of voice of the second-placed competitor. The average citation position of 2.3 is the strongest in the field, which means that when an AI assistant lists roofers in the region, this company is almost always named first rather than buried further down the answer. Their strongest results cluster around specific, checkable credentials: licensing, warranty terms and the manufacturer certifications they actually hold.
The problem in this industry: Pest control is dominated by national chains with enormous brand budgets. A local operator competing against Terminix and Orkin cannot outspend them, which makes being named in the AI answer the only realistic route to being considered at all.
Ranked first in their home market ahead of Terminix, Orkin, Truly Nolen and Massey Services, appearing in 44.8% of AI answers against 25.2% for the nearest national chain. In the smaller towns around their base, AI assistants name them in up to 94% of answers. Their website converted close to 6% of all visitors into enquiries, and organic search was the single largest traffic channel, ahead of both direct and paid.
The problem in this industry: Garage door work is urgent and unplanned. A spring breaks at night and the homeowner asks an assistant who to call right now. There is no research phase, so whoever is named in that answer usually gets the job.
Named in nearly half of all AI answers in their category, more than double the nearest competitor. Six questions return them 100% of the time, and the valuable ones are asked at the moment of need: who to call for a broken spring at night, and which installer offers a one-year parts and labor warranty. From 233 website visitors in a month the site produced 26 phone calls and 17 completed lead forms.
The problem in this industry: B2B buyers research long before they make contact. A lender choosing a vendor asks an assistant which firms are most trusted, and a shortlist forms before anyone picks up a phone. Being absent from that answer means never entering the process.
The most visible company in their category, named in more than twice as many AI answers as the second-placed competitor. Strip out every question that mentions the company by name and they still rank first, which means the visibility is reaching buyers who have never heard of them. On Google, 41 of 100 tracked keyword positions sit in the top three.

Most agencies show you traffic. Traffic is not the same as being recommended. Every figure on this page is measured the same way, month after month, so results can be compared over time rather than cherry-picked.
Every business on this page started with the same question: when someone asks AI who to call, does our name come up? The answer is measurable, and it takes one conversation to find out yours.
